Frequently Asked Questions

Operations Management Platform for Manufacturing

How does your pricing work?

Our pricing is simple. BPMBuild is an Enterprise offering that consists of Professional Services Fees, Configuration costs and then reoccurring licence fees that can be paid monthly or annually at a discount.

What are the reoccurring licence fees for?

Once you have set your business up, we do not sit back and put our feet up. We are continually improving the BPMBuild platform and improving the modules that we use for all of our customers. The licence fees ensure you get priority access to system updates and fixes for no additional cost. Finally, the licence fees give you access to our customer support portal where you can log and track issues, request new features or schedule additional training for your users

Do you have an out of the box solution?

No, we believe every business is different which is why we tailor our Platform to the specific needs of your business and its processes. This also ensures you are not being sold any gimmicky extras or redundant features that you will never use.

We are currently developing our out of the box offering. So Register your business now to be one of the first users of the product.

When will I see the return in my investment?

For Enterprise customers, once we have agreed payment terms, and your project is added to our delivery schedule, we get to work fast to produce your required solution. Our aim is to have projects delivered in less than 16 weeks where you will immediately begin to realise your return on investment every day with the BPMBuild platform.

For our Business users on the BPMBuild Operations Management Platform, you can begin to realise a ROI withing 2-3 weeks with the management of 1 product line.

Do you have a minimum contract length?

No. We do not tie you into a fixed term contract. We have annual or monthly plans which can be terminated with 30 days’ notice.

Can I implement 1 feature, or do I have to use them all to get the best solution?

You can pick and choose the features that best fit the needs of your business. As part of our professional services, we outline the best features and configuration to get the best and fastest return for your investment. If this means utilising 1 feature, then that is all we will need to configure.

Do you provide hardware?

We can provide the Rugged Devices/Tablets for Operators on Request

What is your support like?

All customers get access to our customer support portal once the project is handed over. Here you can log and track issues, request new features or schedule additional training for your users. If an issue cannot be resolved via the portal, we then escalate to telephone support where we can screen share to recreate issues and determine a solution.

I have a plan for a unique integration or feature, can you help?

The BPMBuild Platform is a cloud-based platform which can integrate into any API with a JSON format. Integrations and features outside of our roadmap will be priced accordingly. Costs will be affected by how niche the feature/integration is and how many of our present and future customers may benefit.

How do you implement the technology without understanding my business?

This is a common problem with technology providers today which often results in failed digital transformation projects. Whilst we believe all businesses are similar, however like a strand of DNA, no 2 are the same. We offer initial process mapping packages to gain an understanding of your processes, people and systems in order to implement the best BPMBuild solution for your users first time around. Check out our Professional services packages for a better understanding.

What is BPM?

Business process management (BPM) is the discipline of improving a business process from end to end by analyzing it, modelling how it works in different scenarios, executing improvements, monitoring the improved process and continually optimizing it.

Why do I need to map my processes?

Business Process Mapping can be used to document a current process and to model a new one. Its purpose is to gain a detailed understanding of the process, people, inputs, controls and outputs, and then potentially to simplify it all, make it more efficient and/or improve the process results.

What do I get at the end of the service?

At the end of the service you will have received several takeaways:

  • Process maps outlining your business that you can use to start to gather metrics about your business. These can also be used to train staff on standard processes across the enterprise which may enable certain people to wear multiple hats
  • We guarantee to outline at least 1 area for improvement within your enterprise or receive your money back
  • For every area we outline, we will suggest steps and methodologies to improve these

What processes can you map?

For small businesses we can map out your value chain or quote to cash process. As well as this we can map out some of the additional supporting processes such as:

  1. Sales & Marketing
  2. Accounting & Technology
  3. Quality & Product/Service Delivery
  4. Management, HR & Finance
  5. Product Development

Some more specific processes we look at are as follows:

  1. Quality, Process Improvement & Change Management
  2. Customer Acquisition (Sales)
  3. Technology Management (Computer & IT)

What industries do you provide this service for?

We have developed a methodology and multiple frameworks that can be applied across several industries to deliver the benefits of our process mapping.

Can your process maps be understood by others?

We use industry stand frameworks for mapping business processes. This means your process maps can be understood by absolutely anyone with minimal training or Search Engine exploring

What happens after the process mapping?

Should you follow the advice provided in our final report you should either have a more efficient process than before or have a more educated team on how best to approach all tasks. This will lead to an increase in productivity, reduced costs and a quick return in investment for this valuable BPMBuild service.

We may also recommend implementing the BPMBuild platform into your business if we see an area where it would provide the most value and a fast return on investment.

How do your process maps differ from my well documented ISO procedures?

ISO tends to concentrate on documentation as evidence of process maturity. There are risks involved in this approach, as an organization could easily “fool” the ISO criteria by concentrating on the documentation rather than the real-life strategic process.

Is BPM more important than ISO?

Absolutely not. Whilst the 2 practices are somewhat similar, they are both equally as important in the strategy and operations of a business.

A business who applies BPM to their enterprise can see massive improvements using the frameworks and methods available. The documentation of the resulting BPM processes can then be implemented into your ISO standards to prove to your customers your dedication to how you produce and deliver their goods and services

What other advantages does BPM and process mapping provide?

There are often less tangible aspects such as company values, common practices, and other cultural elements – all of which are very fluid – that cannot be effectively represented in static documentation such as ISO. By contrast, BPM effectively accounts for the more dynamic elements in an organization by its very nature of focusing on active flow versus static documents.
